Pet Medication Tracker Apps Compared
We built Remewdy because the apps we tried did not cover the things we needed. Here is an honest side-by-side with the best-known pet medication and care apps on iOS. If one of the others is right for you, we will say so.
Five apps cover most of the "pet medication tracker" search landscape: Remewdy, 11Pets, PetDesk, Pawprint, and PetPace. They are not all the same kind of product. 11Pets and Remewdy are owner-facing trackers. PetDesk is a vet clinic partnership app. Pawprint focuses on records and clinic integration. PetPace is hardware, a sensor collar, not a tracker app at all.

Where Remewdy Wins
Four things Remewdy offers that the rest of the category does not, as of 2026-04-22.
- Privacy by default. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Data lives on your iPhone. Family sync and sitter sharing are opt-in and end-to-end encrypted when you use them.
- Sitter sharing without a new app. Your sitter opens a web link, logs doses, done. No install friction, no account creation, no 11 pm support request.
- Subcutaneous fluid tracking for CKD cats. Volume in ml, site rotation across left shoulder, right shoulder, and mid-back, session duration. Built because our own cats needed it.
- One-time Lifetime pricing. $99.99 once. No subscription, no renewals. For a tool you will use for the rest of your pet's life, renting it felt wrong.
Where Other Apps Win
We built Remewdy to solve one set of problems. If your primary need is different, another app may fit better. Here is an honest read.
PetDesk, for vet clinic integration
PetDesk partners with veterinary clinics for appointment booking, prescription refill requests, and clinic-to-owner messaging. If your clinic uses PetDesk and your main need is two-way communication with that clinic, PetDesk does that well. Remewdy does not replace that integration. It produces a PDF summary you hand to any vet, which is a different shape of solution.
PetPace, for continuous biometric monitoring
PetPace is a collar-based hardware sensor that tracks temperature, pulse, respiration, activity, and posture. If you need continuous vitals telemetry (for example, a dog with a cardiac condition under close monitoring), PetPace covers that use case. It is not a medication tracker and Remewdy is not a vitals monitor. You may use both.
11Pets, for the largest existing user base
11Pets has been around longer than Remewdy and has a larger community of users. If you want an app with a big existing community and do not mind the subscription model or the account requirement, 11Pets is a well-known option. Remewdy is newer and more focused, particularly on CKD cats, sitter sharing, and privacy-by-default.
How to Choose
A three-question framework.
- Does my vet clinic offer its own partner app I should use? If yes and the partner app is PetDesk, use it for clinic communication. Track medications, fluids, and day-to-day care in Remewdy alongside.
- Do I need continuous heart rate or temperature monitoring? If yes, PetPace is the hardware answer. Remewdy does not do that.
- Do I want local-first tracking, sitter sharing without a new app, subcutaneous fluid logging, and a one-time price option? Remewdy is built for that profile.
You can use more than one. Remewdy does not lock your data up. CSV and JSON export are available on every tier, so you can leave anytime.

Remewdy has a free tier for one pet that includes full medication tracking, reminders, subcutaneous fluid logging, weight tracking, and CSV or JSON export. Most competitors in the pet medication tracker category are subscription-only with no meaningful free tier.
Remewdy works fully offline because data is stored locally on the iPhone. You can open the app, log doses, and read history with no internet connection. Apps that require an account, such as 11Pets and PetDesk, depend on an online sync and cannot be used without network access.
Remewdy. The owner generates a browser link, the sitter opens it on any phone or laptop, no app install and no account needed. 11Pets, PetDesk, Pawprint, and PetPace all require the caregiver to install an app and usually create an account.
Remewdy offers a one-time Lifetime purchase at $99.99 that includes every premium feature with no subscription and no renewals. Other pet medication apps in this category are subscription-only as of 2026-04-22.
Remewdy. It records volume in milliliters, injection site rotation across left shoulder, right shoulder, and mid-back, and session duration. As of 2026-04-22, we have not found another consumer pet medication app that tracks the full subcutaneous fluid workflow.
PetDesk is the vet-clinic integration app in this list. It partners with clinics for appointment booking, prescription refills, and clinic messaging. If your primary need is clinic-facing communication, PetDesk serves that use case. Remewdy is an owner-facing tracker that produces a PDF care summary you hand to any vet, without depending on a specific clinic partnership.
PetPace is a hardware-based vitals monitor that uses a collar sensor to track temperature, pulse, respiration, and activity. It is not a medication tracker per se. If continuous biometric monitoring is what you need, PetPace is the answer. Remewdy is a software tracker for medications, fluids, weight, and care events.
